Dr. Rajni Mann as the Chairman of the Board of Advisor for Radio Gujarat 88.4, our new community radio platform committed to fostering grassroots awareness, sustainability, and inclusive dialogue across Gujarat.

As an Advisor Dr. Rajni Mann brings with her over two decades of rich experience in journalism, mass communication, and academic leadership. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi’s Aditi Mahavidyalaya, she has previously held key academic positions at PDM University and BLS Institute of Technology Management. Her career began as a reporter and sub-editor for the magazine Kisan, grounding her in rural issues that continue to inspire her work today.

Dr. Mann holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication and has authored numerous research papers, many of which focus on the power of radio and digital media in transforming rural communities. Her scholarly contributions include critical analyses of community radio, fake news detection, and media literacy—topics central to the mission of Radio Gujarat 88.4.

A frequent speaker at national and international conferences, she has shared her insights on media’s role in social change, freedom of expression, and digital inclusion. She has also contributed to the training of future media professionals through workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.

Dr. Mann’s appointment marks a significant milestone in our journey to make Radio Gujarat 88.4 a platform that informs, empowers, and uplifts. Her vision and expertise will guide us in amplifying unheard voices and shaping programming that reflects the real needs and stories of the people of Gujarat.
